But it is annoying - so please fix it if possible Apple! It happens now around 10 times per day, and I'm on my Mac around 4 - 6 hours per day. There's no error messages or auto-email to Apple when this happens as nothing crashes, and it's normally fixed by repeating my clicking action to take me onto the page I want to get to. I can go for quite some time without getting so annoyed that I try to find a solution! I'll try upgrading Safari (if there is an upgrade - but I think I'm on auto-upgrade anyhow) but if there's something going on with Safari, Apple ought to be aware of it. I can't be sure exactly when it started but my best guess is 2 m. I'm running Safari v15.4 on a MacBook Air using macOS Monterey v 12.3.1 and I'm not sure if any updates preceded this issue starting. Notes: Changing this setting may impact your experience on other websites. So no matter what operating system you choose, Firefox has you covered with our security and privacy protections. But Safari only works on Apple devices, whereas Firefox works on Windows, macOS, iOS, Android and Linux. It happens in any App I'm in - my accounting software, Google search, the start page on my Mac Homepage. Then, close your browser and navigate back to in Safari. If you choose to use Safari, you’re in safe hands as long as you’re using an Apple device. It always goes back one step/page it doesn't open a completely different page. I go to do something on a new page I've clicked to open and my Mac will quickly take me back, without me touching the keyboard or trackpad. Though previous versions suffered from a number of glitches and bugs, the latest version runs almost as smoothly as other browsers like Firefox. I'm also using Tab Groups, but I feel that this has only been happening in the last two months, whereas I've been using Tab Groups for around 6 months. Though Apple creates products for its own operating system, its also responsible for Safari, which is a web browser that works on Windows devices. I agree with MattForsyth (see reply above).
